A set of fast-play tabletop wargames rules for small infantry skirmishes, set during WWII.
From the introduction:
This is Normandy Firefight, a set of fast-play skirmish wargame rules for recreating infantry vs. infantry firefights during World War II. It pits between two and six characters per side against each other in perhaps a minute of frantic, close-quarters combat action. Do not be distracted by the name. The game is set in Normandy (during the close-quarters hedgerow fighting between American and German soldiers), but these rules can be used and played anywhere during WWII.
The main rules deal with the Normandy fighting and the equipment used there, but the Appendices include profiles for other weapons, including those used in other theaters (such as Russia) and at other times during the war.
The game is d100-based, and uses 54mm figures, with conversion rules for 28mm and 20mm scales.
